Dad,The Tooth Fairy Didn't Come

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

Dad, The Tooth Fairy Didn’t Come Written and Illustrated by Jerry Begly is a hysterically funny children's book. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book as much as I loved Dr Seuss when I was a child. The thing that is great about this book is that it is not only a delightful read for children but it is also a great read for adults. Jerry Begly has an amazing ability to speak to children and adults. I do not want to give the story away so I encourage you to read the book and enjoy every moment of it. Also it is based on a true story. If you are an adult it will bring you back to those magical days when you looked for the tooth fairy and then of course if you are now a parent you can relate to introducing the tooth fairy to your children. Dad, The Tooth Fairy Didn’t Come is classic and should keep everyone who reads it smiling and showing their teeth or the missing ones. The Shaman And Ayahuasca

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Online With Andrea

The Shaman And Ayahuasca by Don Jose Campos is a beautiful book filled with so many insights from this enlightened Soul from the Amazon. This book is so special it is really difficult to express in words. Don Jose Campos clearly states "that books are ok but the understanding of Ayahuasca will not be in words...the spirit of Ayahuasca will come to you through my intention. My energy for this is what a Shaman does. He transmits energy and healing through his songs, through his presence and with the help of Spirit called Icaros." We learn about the healing power of the Ayahuasca, how it has been used by Shamans from the Amazon for many years, and we learn about our connection to all life. This book will take you on a wonderful journey. It reads like a poem and it feels like a song. It has such a calming healing feeling about it. It is a book that you can read again and again and each time you will learn something new. In addition to the book there is a wonderful film produced by Michael Wiese from Divine Arts Media that is available on DVD. For more information visit www.divineartsmedia.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview with Michael Wiese and Shaman Don Jose Campos.

Red Shambhala By Andrei Znamenski

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Online With Andrea

Red Shambhala Magic, Prophecy and Geopolitics in the Heart of Asia by Dr. Andrei Znamenski is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It reads like a thrilling page turning novel yet the events in this book are all true. I am thankful for the list of major characters because I referred to it a couple of times when I was reading the book.. There are so many fascinating characters that are featured in Red Shambhala that covered quite a span from the 1800’s – 1960. The list of major characters include Alexander Barchenko, Gleb Bokii, Ja-Lama, Nicholas Roerich, Helena Roerich, George Roerich, Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg, Boris Shumatsky, Sergei Borisov, Elbek-Dorji Rinchino, Agvan Dorzhiev. Their names alone are intriguing so just wait until you read this book. Red Shambhala definitely is a book that lays the ground work for an exciting film. There is no need to create drama when you have true stories like this to tell. The Naked Truth About Breast Implants

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

The Naked Truth About Breast Implants - From Harm To Healing by Dr. Susan E. Kolb is a very comprehensive book on breast implantation. With the numbers of women voluntarily choosing to get breast implants this is a terrific resource. In fact I think that this book should be required reading before the surgery. There are colorful photographs of the actual implants and honest indepth sharings from women who have actually gone through the procedure. What makes this book so special is that it was written by Dr. Susan Kolb who has treated thousands of women who have had complications from breast augmentation procedures. The added bonus is that Dr. Kolb has gone through the process herself so she can speak about this topic as a doctor and as a patient. For more information please visit Dr. Kolb’s websites www.thenakedtruthaboutbreastimplants.com and www.plastikos.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview with Dr. Susan Kolb.

Mandalaband Presents AD Sangreal

A Reflective Review By Andrea R.Garrison - Onlinewithandrea

AD Sangreal by the Mandalaband lead by the brilliant talents of David Rohl is an extraordinary CD with 15 amazing tracks. The AD Sangreal music focuses on the Roman Empire and the early middle ages telling the legendary history of the Holy Grail. This CD is dedicated to Stuart Wooly Wolstenholme one of the Mandalaband members who passed away in December of 2010. The opening track on this CD is A Bloodline Born featuring Marc Atkinson who happens to be one of my favorite male vocalists. Every single thing about this CD is great, and elaborate!!! It is meticulously produced in every detail. The music, the lyrics, the orchestrations, the vocals and the CD cover design by Ed Unitsky are beyond words. My first reaction when I listened to the entire CD was WOW this music is meant to be the background for a major Broadway play or a very well-produced epic film. It is rare to experience such a high level of creativity, musicianship and mastery. AD Sangreal is such an amazing collaboration. Everyone who participated in the development of this recording should be pleased. This CD is not meant to be down loaded. In order to truly have the entire extraordinary, majestic Mandalaband experience you must purchase the hard copy so you can enjoy the beautiful detailed colorful booklet as well as the music. Of course the best of both worlds would be to see the Mandalaband perform live. AD Sangreal by Mandalaband is definitely spot on!!! I love AD Sangreal!!! Smart Music Entertainment Presents Lesson Number One

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Onlinewithandrea

I absolutely love Lesson Number One developed by Smart Music Entertainment. It is creative, educational ,entertaining and innovative. It features ten major tracks plus two bonus tracks. The CD starts out with a powerful introduction followed by Kings & Queens, Slavery, Invent, First 25 Presidents, Cash Flow, Congress Women, Moors, 50 States, It’s A War, Congress Women(remix) and Drugs. What amazes me is that Larry Lak Henderson and his team were able to incorporate so much historical information in a couple of minutes. Smart Music has taken Hip Hop music to another level. This project should be incorporated in school systems and communities everywhere. Smart Music has no limits because educational music is great for anyone at any age at any time. I look forward to Lesson Number Two. Helen Keller How I Would Help The World

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Onlinewithandrea

How I Would Help The World By Helen Keller (1880 -1968) with an Introduction by Rev. Dr. Ray Silverman is a precious, little book written by this iconic inspirational woman who was stricken with a disease that left her blind and deaf. Despite her obvious challenges she went on to learn to read and to write and was the first blind and deaf person to earn a college degree when she graduated from Radcliffe College. In this book Helen Keller shares her heartfelt feelings and appreciation for Emanuel Swedenborg referring to him as “one of the noblest champions true Christianity has ever known,” she said, “Swedenborg’s message has been my greatest incitement to overcome limitation.” The book starts out with a powerful introduction by Rev. Dr. Ray Silverman. “When we consider the life of such an inspiring person, we may wonder how Helen Keller was able to overcome her limitations and become such a powerful force for good. What was the source of her inner strength, undaunted optimism, and noble aspiration? She was an inspiration to millions, and continues to be so today. But who inspired Helen?” Well the answer to that question is that Helen Keller was a spiritual independent woman deeply touched by Emanuel Swedenborg the Swedish scientist, philosopher, Christian mystic who lived from 1688 – 1772. In reading the words of Helen Keller and the writings of this mystic seer one can easily understand why she was so moved by Swedenborg. The works of Swedenborg takes one beyond the limitation of the physical earth into the spirit world of unlimited possibilities. It is rather ironic that millions may learn about Emanuel Swedenborg through the words of Helen Keller. But then again they are both kindred spirits eternally because of their tremendous ability to see, to hear and to connect beyond the physical universe. You will love this precious little book because there is so much in these pages. There are precious photos and beautiful heart inspired words from Ray Silverman, Helen Keller and Emanuel Swedenborg. So it is small in size but huge in depth and content. For more information visit www.swedenborg.com and listen to the Onlinewithandrea interview on Helen Keller.

Contrast and More Morre

A Reflective Review By Andrea Garrison - Onlinewithandrea

While I am reflecting on Morre, this wonderful band from Canada I am listening to Contrast their latest CD released on The Melodic Revolution Records label. Believe me at this moment while listening to Morre I am not sitting still. Each tune just flows perfectly and melodiously from one to the next. Individually each track stands solid adding a special dimension to the entire CD experience. I love their sound which is why I play their music so often on my radio program and I will continue to do so. Morre is exciting and one of the best independent bands on the music scene today. They are excellent musicians with a great, carefully produced, meticulous sound and they have an amazing stage presence which is obvious by watching their videos. If there is any band on the scene today that deserves to be recognized on a global scale it is definitely Morre. They are more than studio musicians. They are ready to take the show on the road in a big way. I am looking forward to their next release and I am also looking forward to seeing Morre live. I guarantee that with Morre you will always get more than you bargained for and you will always want to hear and see more of Morre. I can just see it and feel it. For more information on Morre visit www.morremusic.com, melodicrevolutionrecords.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview with Morre.

Embodying Osiris

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Onlinewithandrea

Embodying Osiris The Secrets of Alchemical Transformation by Thom F. Cavalli, Ph.D. is a groundbreaking integration of Jungian Psychology, Alchemy and Egyptian Mythology. This is a fascinating book that takes you into the life of Osiris the Egyptian God of fertility, death, resurrection and the leader of the underworld. The Egyptians view death as an integral part of the journey into the afterlife or eternal life. In this book Dr. Cavalli explains, “Through a deep understanding we learn that death is not to be feared. Once the fear of death is gone then the journey of life is transformed. Instead, death is a teacher that shows us how creating comes by way of loss and regeneration.” What is so great about this book is that it actually helps us to create unlimited possibilities simply by embracing the stillness, facing our fears, and then releasing them to allow a clearing so the light of life can take hold. When the fear of death is gone then we can accept life as it continues. When we overcome this fear of death and when we can unveil the dark side we are in fact embodying the spirit of Osiris who lives and transforms all of us. Dr. Cavalli writes that, “if we are sufficiently still-as still as a corpse-eternity enters us. Then a God may come into our being, bringing eternity to mind and the experience of continual creation. Becoming isn’t something that begins and ends with our time on earth but rather is an emergent property of the universe. We can now embrace Osiris as an alchemical figure representing eternity in time, the ceaseless process of becoming and individuating in which birth and death are only markers along the way. Osiris, born of earth and sky, is very much like us, and we, like him, die and resurrect.” What I like about this book is that we are asked to view and understand Osiris as a way to a deeper and greater exploration of self. This book and the concepts within are worthy of revisiting on an on-going basis because it is this exploration, constant change and transformation that keeps us grounded and steady on this path. It is this endless journey that leads to a greater understanding of self and thus a greater understanding of the universe. For more information on Dr. Thom Cavalli visit www.cavallibooks.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview.

BunChakeze - Whose Dream ?

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

Who would think that back in 1984 that a group of musicians from the UK would team up with a singer from Los Angeles to create music that was overlooked then but receiving rave reviews today. Perhaps without knowing it BunChakeze was creating a futuristic project. I am actually listening to this CD as I am writing this review and the music on this CD is absolutely amazing. I keep wondering what on earth were those record executives thinking when they turned down such incredible music. It has such dimension and so many harmonic intricacies. Everything about this CD is great including the lyrics which flows so well with the music. Let’s not forget the CD cover which captures your attention. Please don’t ask me which track is my favorite because honestly I cannot decide. I guess it is the tune that is playing at the moment. The entire CD is great so I strongly suggest that you purchase the full CD and sit back and enjoy the music of BunChakeze. Whose Dream is a perfect release for this moment in time. Perhaps many people will hear the music of BunChakeze and finally they will get the recognition that they deserve. For more information on BunChakeze visit www.bunchakeze.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview.

Conspiracies Of Kindness By Michael Ortiz Hill

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

Conspiracies of Kindness The Craft of Compassion at the Bedside of the Ill by Michael Ortiz Hill is a wonderful cozy book that truly reflects the gentle heart of the author. When I started reading this book it was my intent to read a few pages and to continue it at another time. It was such a captivating, heart moving read that I could not put down the softness, the tenderness that it inspired. I felt such a great sense of warmth, compassion and love in my heart that I was speechless. It is a very powerful experience when the writer can actually write about kindness and ignite it in the heart of the reader. This book is genuinely a warm and sensitive read that goes beyond words. Quite honestly anything that I write, anything that I say would be inadequate and certainly fall short of the experience I had reading this precious book by this gentle soul. If you would like to learn more about kindness and compassion this is the book to read. If you would like to feel kindness and compassion in your heart this is the book to read. If you want to curl up with a good book this is the book to read. What else can I say other than thank you Michael Ortiz Hill for your gift of kindness and compassion. I am genuinely touched and inspired by your journey, your work and your book Conspiracies of Kindness. For more information on Michael Ortiz Hill visit www.gatheringin.com, www.michaelortizhill.com and listen to the Onlinewithandrea interview with Michael Ortiz Hill.
