The Naked Truth About Breast Implants

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

The Naked Truth About Breast Implants - From Harm To Healing by Dr. Susan E. Kolb is a very comprehensive book on breast implantation. With the numbers of women voluntarily choosing to get breast implants this is a terrific resource. In fact I think that this book should be required reading before the surgery. There are colorful photographs of the actual implants and honest indepth sharings from women who have actually gone through the procedure. What makes this book so special is that it was written by Dr. Susan Kolb who has treated thousands of women who have had complications from breast augmentation procedures. The added bonus is that Dr. Kolb has gone through the process herself so she can speak about this topic as a doctor and as a patient. For more information please visit Dr. Kolb’s websites www.thenakedtruthaboutbreastimplants.com and www.plastikos.com and listen to the Online With Andrea interview with Dr. Susan Kolb.

Smart Music Entertainment Presents Lesson Number One

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Onlinewithandrea

I absolutely love Lesson Number One developed by Smart Music Entertainment. It is creative, educational ,entertaining and innovative. It features ten major tracks plus two bonus tracks. The CD starts out with a powerful introduction followed by Kings & Queens, Slavery, Invent, First 25 Presidents, Cash Flow, Congress Women, Moors, 50 States, It’s A War, Congress Women(remix) and Drugs. What amazes me is that Larry Lak Henderson and his team were able to incorporate so much historical information in a couple of minutes. Smart Music has taken Hip Hop music to another level. This project should be incorporated in school systems and communities everywhere. Smart Music has no limits because educational music is great for anyone at any age at any time. I look forward to Lesson Number Two. To find out how you can feature Smart Music Entertainment in your community and for more information on Smart Music visit www.smarthiphopmusic.blogspot.com and listen to the Onlinewithandrea interview with Larry ‘Lak’ Henderson.

Observations By Unified Past

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison

Observations the latest CD by Unified Past features the great team efforts of Stephen Speelman, Victor Tassone and Frank Tassone. The CD opens up with I’m Not Answering which is a very creative track that truly captures your attention. This CD has some very highly charged rocking tracks and then there are the tunes such as Faithless and Remember When that have the softer melodic tones. I love the special sound effects through out that adds another dimension. My observation is that this is an entertaining CD that will get you moving and thinking. Helen Keller How I Would Help The World

A Reflective Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Onlinewithandrea

How I Would Help The World By Helen Keller (1880 -1968) with an Introduction by Rev. Dr. Ray Silverman is a precious, little book written by this iconic inspirational woman who was stricken with a disease that left her blind and deaf. Despite her obvious challenges she went on to learn to read and to write and was the first blind and deaf person to earn a college degree when she graduated from Radcliffe College. In this book Helen Keller shares her heartfelt feelings and appreciation for Emanuel Swedenborg referring to him as “one of the noblest champions true Christianity has ever known,” she said, “Swedenborg’s message has been my greatest incitement to overcome limitation.” The book starts out with a powerful introduction by Rev. Dr. Ray Silverman. “When we consider the life of such an inspiring person, we may wonder how Helen Keller was able to overcome her limitations and become such a powerful force for good. What was the source of her inner strength, undaunted optimism, and noble aspiration? She was an inspiration to millions, and continues to be so today. But who inspired Helen?” Well the answer to that question is that Helen Keller was a spiritual independent woman deeply touched by Emanuel Swedenborg the Swedish scientist, philosopher, Christian mystic who lived from 1688 – 1772. In reading the words of Helen Keller and the writings of this mystic seer one can easily understand why she was so moved by Swedenborg. The works of Swedenborg takes one beyond the limitation of the physical earth into the spirit world of unlimited possibilities. It is rather ironic that millions may learn about Emanuel Swedenborg through the words of Helen Keller. But then again they are both kindred spirits eternally because of their tremendous ability to see, to hear and to connect beyond the physical universe. You will love this precious little book because there is so much in these pages. There are precious photos and beautiful heart inspired words from Ray Silverman, Helen Keller and Emanuel Swedenborg. So it is small in size but huge in depth and content. For more information visit www.swedenborg.com and listen to the Onlinewithandrea interview on Helen Keller.

The Essential Nostradamus By Richard Smoley

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison -
Online With Andrea

The prophecies of Nostradamus have been an ongoing debate for many years. The Essential Nostradamus by Richard Smoley is a thorough read on this iconic man of widespread speculation, prophecy and mystery. What I like about this book is that it is a straight up no-nonsense historical read. It does not exaggerate the psychic abilities of Nostradamus to make him appear larger than life. In this very well documented practical book you get to see Nostradamus as a real earthly man who may have had some extraordinary psychic abilities. Then again his widely perceived intuitive gift may have consisted of a combination of insight with a bit of luck added to the mix. Or perhaps his prophecies were so broadly predicted you could easily and conveniently apply them to certain historical events. This book just adds a very refreshing dimension to the on-going debate on Nostradamus which is so prominently featured in documentaries and many tabloid magazines. In fact I suspect that Nostradamus has been a headliner probably much more than even he could have ever predicted. I would say that it is a great probability that Nostradamus will be a prominent figure in the prophecy arena for many more years. If you want to learn about the history of Nostradamus this is an essential read. The Adventures of Buddhist Boy

Talk Thai – The Adventures of Buddhist Boy

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

If you have ever wondered what it is like to grow up in a Thai household while living in America Talk Thai – The Adventures of Buddhist Boy by Ira Sukrungruang is the book to read. What is so great about this book is that it truly tackles some challenging issues with warmth and humor. I found myself reading the book and laughing hysterically at times. In the midst of this enjoyable read I gained valuable insights into what it is like to grow up deeply in the midst of two different cultures. Ira candidly shares his adventures growing up. There are so many questions raised. What does happen when your culture at home is distinctly different from the culture outside of your home? What it is like being so different from all of your friends and neighbors? How does one assimilate in one culture with out losing their roots? While often times we focus on the differences it is interesting to note how similar we all are. Reading Talk Thai is a wonderful reminder of how important it is to learn about different cultures which will lead to a greater understanding of all. D Drives Goes 3D

A Review by Andrea R. Garrison – Online With Andrea

The D Drive band features Phil Naro, Don Mancuso, John Taylor John Naro and Bobby Bond. D Drive doesn’t waste any time starting out the 3D CD with the opening tune Next Train which definitely starts you moving. D Drive gets right into rocking the house as they say. It is ironic that one tune is called Dig Down and another cut is called Down Deep because D Drive is taking it to another level with this Melodic Revolution Records release. They are taking it down deep while at the same time stepping it up to some high powered levels in terms of the sounds they are creating on this new CD. All I can say is if you are ready to rock then take the 3D ride with D Drive. To learn more about D Drive visit www.ddrive.com and melodicrevolution.com. Also listen to the Online With Andrea interview featuring D Drive.

Dancing With Angels A Transplant Odyssey

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Online With Andrea

Dancing With Angels A Transplant Odyssey by Elizabeth A. Pratt offers a very compelling testimony on the importance of organ donation. This book was truly an eye opener for me because I had not given this subject matter much thought because like so many others I did not realize how much it is needed. The fact is that organ donation does save lives. While it is difficult to experience the passing of a loved one it is a beautiful and very comforting thought to know that their heart still beats creating a pulse for the life of another. Elizabeth Pratt lived her life as an active, health conscious athletic beautiful dancer. So it was actually very surprising to hear that this vibrant energetic person needed a heart transplant. Elizabeth Pratt is here today because she was able to get a new heart from her donor Patricia. In the book Elizabeth shares her heart warming experiences meeting her donor’s family. Elizabeth not only describes her experiences but she also shares the stories of others who have received transplants. Dancing With Angels is a comprehensive book that will tell you pretty much every thing you need to know about organ donation and transplants. In addition to the book Elizabeth Pratt has teamed up with Bobby Broome and Music Row Records to produce a wonderful Dancing With Angels CD with ten beautiful songs. For more information on Elizabeth Pratt, organ donation and transplants please visit www.dancing-with-angels.org and listen to the Online With Andrea interview with Elizabeth.

Dual With Rhonda And Peco

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

When I first heard Rhonda LaRoy and Peco I immediately loved their music. Every single tune just flowed harmoniously from one to the next. They seemed to have a natural flow and a natural spark that is quite rare and special. Every tune is different. There is nothing routine about their music. When you listen to them you will know that they were meant to be together writing, performing and producing. When I listen to them I can visualize them in a major stage production with Rhonda and her sassy beautiful vocals with Peco by her side strumming cords creating magnificent sounds that only a true connection such as theirs can create. On the CD cover it say’s Decide You Are Love. If you want to experience these heart inspired and heart driven sounds listen to this dynamic team on Dual.
