What Peace There May Be By Susanna Barlow

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

What Peace There May Be A Memoir by Susanna Barlow is a very heart wrenching read about what it was like to grow up being abused and sequestered in a Mormon fundamentalist religious home the 23rd child of 46 children. This is a true story of surrender, survival and triumph. Susanna is no longer in a polygamous household. She is in a traditional marriage with a wonderful husband and six children. She was able to overcome her paralyzing childhood to become an activist speaking out against abuse. Her triumph is encouraging and inspirational. Her memoir is an important book to read.
