How To Bounce Back From Life’s Hardest Hits By Azim Khamisa and Jillian Quinn

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison – Online With Andrea

How does one develop a bullet proof spirit to get through many of life’s toughest challenges? When I heard about the Authors of this book and their incredible stories I knew that if anyone would have any insights into the answer to this question it would be Azim and Jillian. Azim’s son was murdered and it was his bullet proof spirit that led him to forgive the one who had killed his son. He realized in his grief and loss that there were many victims and that the only way to heal was to truly forgive. Jillian was heartbroken when told that the baby she carried was not living and upon recovery from her loss she adopted a child. Both of these Authors took these heart wrenching experiences and turned them into something positive, encouraging and triumphant. How does one so broken and in pain rise up in service to others? The Secrets of the Bullet Proof Spirit unveils thirty secrets that can help you during those tough times. This book is a great heart inspired manual and a powerful reminder that when things get tough that this too shall pass. We may fall down but with a Bullet Proof Spirit we can and we will get up. Fasten Your Financial Seatbelt - What Surviving an Airline Crash Taught Me About Retirement Planning

By Thomas C. Scott

A Review By Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

When I first received Fasten Your Financial Seatbelt What Surviving an Airline Crash Taught Me About Retirement Planning By Thomas C. Scott I was quite curious about the correlation between a financial crash and a plane crash. I started reading it and did not stop until I finished the entire book. I loved it. Everything about it was interesting to me. Reading about Thomas Scott as a child earning money, saving, investing and revealing what he learned about financial matters by watching his mother, father and others who were in his immediate surroundings. Then of course I was captivated by his heart wrenching reflections on the first Boeing 747 that crashed in Nairobi, Kenya in 1974 that killed 59 passengers leaving 98 survivors. Thomas Scott a survivor and a 23 –year-old crew member on board Lufthansa Flight 540 was hailed a hero for rescuing 12 passengers from the wreckage. The book provides real cases of how people try to manage their finances hopefully avoiding a financial crash. Fasten Your Financial Seatbelt has a wealth of information on investing and how to choose a Financial Planner. According to Fasten Your Financial Seatbelt it is not about the money that we have but what we do with the money we have and that money should not be the master but the servant. This book will prompt you to seriously examine what you truly want to do in this life. You will learn that planning is the key. Many say that money is the root of all evil but Thomas Scott has a different perspective. His view is that if you get money right, money can be the root of all happiness. If you really want to know how all of this relates to surviving a plane crash I say read the book, Fasten Your Financial Seatbelt – What Surviving an Airline Crash Taught Me About Retirement Planning. Get A Life The Latest CD Release by Yves Carbonne

A Review by Andrea R. Garrison - Online With Andrea

Yves Carbonne says that this CD release could also be called “A Little Encyclopedia Of Bass Guitar.” Yves has used all his bass contrabass and sub-bass guitars on it from the ’63 Bass to the 12 string fretless sub-bass. The CD features the vocals of Guillaume Eyango and a special guest appearance by Marcus Miller. There is movement, stillness and moments that awaken your spirit. There are the beautiful highs, the dramatic soothing warm lows with Yves Carbonne adding his special unique sound to each tune. The bass tones are earthy and rhythmic always keeping the flow real in this very special mix. Yves allows space, silence and movement which has the stamp of his unique signature. As he explores the depth of the bass, he approaches it with an adventurous spirit and takes it to another dimension while adding body and sounds to a song that only he can create. He shares his style and he shares his life with his music. He does this by embracing the bass with his philosophy of life which is the heart and soul of the music he creates. The beauty about Yves and his music is that he is not afraid to be true to himself. He is not afraid to be different. What is so great about this CD is that it is innovative and creative. It truly has a very different sound which is a refreshing change. If you are looking to add something new to your CD collection take a musical adventure and get A Life and sit back and enjoy the new sounds created by Yves Carbonne.
